Key Antibodies for Identification of Melanoma Proteins

May is Skin Cancer awareness month. Menarini Diagnostics are proud to offer key dermatopathology antibodies that may aid in the identification of their respective proteins by IHC in FFPE tissues.

Melanoma skin cancers are the 5th most diagnosed cancer in the UK, with about 4% of all new cancer cases classified as melanoma of the skin, resulting in approximately 1% of cancer deaths yearly. Those diagnosed with skin cancer have a five year survival rate of 90%. Over the last 10 years, melanoma skin cancer incidence rates have increased by half (50%) with mortality rates increasing by 15%. (1)
